Russian Entrenching Tool Shovel With Leather CoverThis is a nice example of a rusisan military entrenching tool which is well marked and dated 1906 and is still wearing its leather cover. It is mounted with a shovel blade that measures 7 5/8 niches in length by 5 3/4 inches wide. The shovel although has darkened with age, does continue to wear some of the original finish. The wooden shaft also remains healthy in condition. The leather covering shows a little wear on one side, nevertheless does reamin in good serviceable condition. Overall measuring 20 3/4 inches in length. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this auction).
